Hospitals are where a pediatric oncologist will spend the workday. They will usually go to a special hospital like St. Judes or Mayo Clinic. A hospital that has a big name like the two I mentioned are normal places you will find a pediatric oncologist.

What do they treat and how?

They commonly treat ALL (Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia). They treat it with surgery first, chemotherapy next, and finally radiation. Most of the diseases they treat have a set plan on what to do. But some cases do not have a set plan though.
