GCISD Playground, Swings and Restrooms Now Closed
Grapevine-Colleyville ISD views the health and safety of our community as a top priority. Due to COVID-19, playgrounds, swings, and restrooms are closed until further notice.
Courts, tracks and fields will remain open. Please practice social distancing and limit groups to 10 people or less when utilizing a court, track or field.
Tarrant County Officials Issue "Stay at Home" Order
Officials in Tarrant County have announced “stay at home” orders to combat the continuing spread of COVID-19. The new orders are in addition to the disaster declaration that was already in effect. Read the complete order here.
In addition to the restrictions that were already in place, the new order states that residents should stay inside their homes unless for "essential travel and essential activities," such as grocery shopping, jobs, outdoor exercise or going out for health reasons.
The new order took effect at midnight last night and will remain in effect until April 7.
Learning@Home: Week 2 Information
The Week 2 resources for Learning@Home are now live and ready for students, parents, and teachers to use. As last week’s focus was connectivity and enrichment, this week we are focusing on routines, review, and relationships. The goal will be to help students begin creating learning routines at home using content and tools that are familiar.
Upon accessing the Learning@Home site, you will find the link to the Week 2 content review section. Select your grade band (PK-5, 6-8, or 9-12) and then click on the corresponding grade level (elementary) or courses (secondary). Elementary review activities are designed to include parent involvement. Teachers will be in touch with students regularly this week to interact and expand upon the course information found on the Learning@Home site. Please email learning@gcisd.net if you have any questions or need support.
