Do you ever wonder what the teachers mean when they say “Your child needs to work on retelling a story that he/she reads?” The Kindergarten and 1st grade teams want to help answer that question. They will bring student examples of oral and written retelling so you can see 1st hand what WCPSS considers an acceptable response or what responses don’t quite answer the question.
