Knowing our New Crew - Mrs. Chantay Crawley

Hello Pony Family! I am excited to be a part of Lewisville Elementary this year as part of the 1st grade team. I am a native of Michigan where I was born and raised and spent the majority of my life. My family and I relocated to Texas in the summer of 2016. I am the proud mom of 4 amazing children, two sons Brandon and Christopher, and two girls Crishawn and Angel.

In November I will be celebrating my 25th wedding anniversary with my husband Chris, who is a retired firefighter. I graduated from Eastern Michigan University. I also attended the University of Phoenix where I obtained my Masters. This is my 12th year in education and for the past two years prior to coming here, I taught 2nd grade in Irving at a charter school. I live in the city of Lewisville and my son graduated from Hebron High School. My favorite color is red, I enjoy old school hip hop, reading, and learning new things.

Restorative Practices Token Economies Ideas

These are used for individual student prizes. Our teacher helpers hand out tickets for students who are on task (tickets from Dollar Tree). The student writes his/her name on the ticket they receive and places it in my ticket container.

The teacher draws 5 tickets 2 to 3 times a week. Each student whose name is pulled, picks one of the "Classroom Coupons," the teacher hold the "classroom coupon" face down so it's a surprise.

These are whole class incentives. Click here

** Thank you Mrs. Lopez for sharing your token economy. :-)
