Fifth graders participated in their first Peer2Peer meeting of the school year. Gavin Leitz, Chloe Burback, and Sage Lavigne we’re recognized by teachers with “Crunch Time” awards for helping out when other students were in need. We can count on them when friends “are in a crunch!” Keep up the great work!
Cross Country Team
At the TriValley Conference Jamboree #2 at Standish on Tuesday, Nicholas Chasnis placed
47th, running 16:38 for 2 miles while Dominic Rivette placed 51st, running his season-best time
of 16:42. Logan Proux ran a personal best time of 22:49 and Harrison Salowitz ran 24:23

Monday (9/27) Results.....
The 7th grade Match 1: 25-15 Bullock Creek won, Match 2: 25-10 Hemlock won and Match 3: 25-19 Hemlock won. Overall, Hemlock for the win!
Wednesday (9/29) Results.....
The 8th grade girls volleyball team defeated Alma 25-17, 25-16 and 15-5. Next up for Hemlock is on October 5 at home vs Millington.

RAUCHHOLZ MEMORIAL LIBRARY NEWS
Chess Club starts at the library next Wednesday, October 6th at 6 PM! This family-friendly chess club is for kids, teens, and parents who want to learn how to play chess or find others to play with, and is generously hosted by our volunteer chess teacher Brian Premo.
Please sign up so we know how many participants to plan for. But if you decide to come at the last minute, don't hesitate! Drop-ins are also welcome! Feel free to bring your own chess set if you have one!

Saginaw Silver Screen Series
The Temple Theater in downtown Saginaw has announced its 2021 fall/winter lineup for The Saginaw Silver Screen series.
Established in 2017, the movie series features classic films. All of the films begin at 2:00 pm. Tickets are $10 at the door.
