Bearcat Brief
February 12, 2018
Notes from Niki
Here's a special Monday edition of the Bearcat Brief (because I forgot to send it on Friday). I hope you had an enjoyable weekend.
It looked like everyone was using their time in vertical teams today effectively. I heard a lot of conversations about curriculum and saw a lot of you share resources. I am thankful for these full days, I have a much greater sense of accomplishment at the end of them than the rushed half-day sessions.
The legislative session has a lot of hot-button education bills rolling out of committee in the upcoming weeks. I hope you are staying up on your professional organizations' updates regarding charter school expansion, educational savings accounts, and others and conveying your opinions to your representatives and senators.
- Bearcat Times are done- please review, make any necessary changes, and then share with students 3rd hour
- Don't forget we have a faculty meeting tomorrow
- morning
- If you need test tickets for the practice GLA's, please send me an email with your dates and I will get them printed out. Maranda or I will get you added in as students so you have your own login if you are wanting to project the test on your Smart Board.
