Counselor's Corner - Mrs. Casey
Throughout November, all of our 6th-12th grade students participated in the Signs of Suicide Prevention Training. This training teaches students to ACT: Acknowledge, Care and Tell. A element of suicide prevention is making it okay to ask about suicide and provide honest feedback. Research has shown that asking about suicide DOES NOT put the idea into someone's head. Athletic Spotlight
Girls Basketball
The girls basketball team led by Coach Golubski and Coach Cochran has been competing since early November. The girls have been working hard, and have seen a lot of growth throughout the season. We are proud of their efforts and the way they have represented Clever Schools. The girls will conclude their season on Friday 12/9 against Reed Middle School.
Boys Basketball
The boys basketball team led by Coach Garmen and Coach Slawson has been practicing since mid November, and kicked off their season on Thursday 12/8 at Fair Grove. The boys will be in action though the end of January. We are excited for what they will accomplish this season, and look forward to seeing them compete!
Spring Softball Interest Form
Good morning students,
Those that are interested in softball this Spring need to fill out the following Google Form by this Friday. This is not a commitment to softball, simply an interest survey so that we can get a list of students and their experience before our first meeting.
Thank you
Cooking Club Fun!
Ms. Reynold's and the cooking club held their first meeting last week. The plan is for students to bake desserts that will be shared in the teacher lounges for when they need a sweet treat! There are currently around 30 students involved in the club.

Alternative Methods of Instruction
Beginning in the 2020-2021 school year, a local education agency (LEA) will not be required to make up school hours that are lost or canceled due to exceptional or emergency circumstances (up to 36 hours). This allows our school district to implement virtual learning plans in place of up to 4 missed days of learning.
Students should have brought their packet of work home before Thanksgiving. Please place this somewhere for safe keeping until the school district uses an AMI day.
Canvas Access From Home
Having trouble logging into Canvas from a home device? Here is a quick how-to video to assist with the process. Students will need to use their @cleverbluejays.org login and Google password. This is the same credentials they use everyday when logging into their chromebook at school. If you are having trouble, please reach out to the middle school office.
