NOVEMBER 2, 2022 - NEWSLETTER
Hello to our Northpoint Families,
We’ve been enjoying the spectacular fall weather at Northpoint during recess and physical education classes, and thanks to our amazing PTO, during our Fall Party held last Saturday! The children enjoyed games, a petting zoo, treats, and time on the playground. Thank you to our volunteers who made this event possible, including students from Spring Lake Park High School who spent part of their day with us!
November has arrived and we have three solid weeks of learning before the Thanksgiving holiday. This is important learning time. Thank you for continuing to support your student getting to school each day on time. As a reminder, if your child will be absent for any reason, please call the Northpoint Attendance Line before 10 a.m. at 763-600-5709.
Next Tuesday, November 8, Northpoint will once again be a polling site for the City of Blaine. Voters will have access only to the gym and will enter and exit through the exterior gym doors. Voters will not be allowed beyond the gym, and Spring Lake Park staff will be providing supervision in our main hallway to ensure no voter traffic goes beyond the gym into the educational area.
I hope you enjoy these beautiful fall days. Have a great week.
Judi Kahoun
Principal

NP PTO family fun fest a success
Northpoint families enjoyed the PTO Fall Family Fun event that was held last Saturday at Northpoint. Highlights were a petting zoo, games, refreshment and a dance party. Thank you to our wonderful PTO members and volunteers who made this event possible!
School and so much more
In a few short weeks, homemade drones assembled by students will fill the air outside Westwood Intermediate and Middle School. They are coming together thanks to the after-school Code & Fly Camp. This month, the high school gym will come alive with the sounds of indoor Pickleball.
These new programs are available through Spring Lake Park Schools Community Education. Each program is designed to help participants learn new skills, connect with others who share similar interests and — maybe most importantly – have fun. At SLP, we’re school and so much more.
Now is a great time for your child, your family or yourself to get involved. There are also opportunities for community members to teach a class.
Programs for the whole family are running now with a new wave of youth programs starting up next week. Browse and register today.
