Reynolds' Report
Happy Sunday, Roadrunner Families!
Did you know that WPUSD is working to increase the food service options for our students? We are excited to have a guest chef at First Street School this Wednesday serving students a special scratch prepared meal of BBQ chicken, roasted corn and coleslaw! Students will have the opportunity to provide feedback and thoughts on the meal. Be sure to ask your student how they liked it!
Have a great week, Roadrunners, and stay dry!

Box Tops for Education
February is the last month that paper Box Tops coupons can be collected & submitted. Look through your pantry to see if there are any remaining unexpired Box Tops waiting to be cut from the packaging. Send them to the school office by Thursday, February 23rd for inclusion in our final submission of physical Box Tops coupons.
Box Tops will continue to be collected digitally with the Box Tops app. For each Box Top submitted, First Street School gets back $0.10. While that isn't much on its own, the whole school community collecting them from Participating Products throughout the year can earn enough to pay for things like software memberships or supplies for classroom activities.
- Earn Box Tops for participating products by scanning receipts with the Box Tops app.
- When you shop online or use delivery services, you can earn Box Tops by forwarding your e-receipt to receipts@boxtops4education.com. See further details about submitting e-receipts here.
- Double-dipping IS still allowed for February. If any newly purchased product still displays a traditional Box Tops coupon, you can clip & send it in to the school AND scan the receipt for that item with the app & earn credit twice.

Affordable Connectivity Program
Internet connectivity is an important part of academic success in education today. Luckily, there are a lot of different options to ensure that your student has access to internet at home. If you do not have internet at home, you may qualify for discounts on internet and computers through the federal Affordable Connectivity Program.

Updated COVID Protocols
Student Quarantine:
Effective this year, California Department of Public Health has replaced most of the requirements about student quarantine with recommendations. The one remaining requirement is that students who are ill must be fever-free for at least 24 hours without the aide of fever-reducing medications before they are able to return to school. Please see the documents below for more detailed information.
