Your Teachers

Mrs. Reid & Mr. Jose:

This is our 5th year teaching together & we are ready for another great year. We are proud of all of our kids and love being in kindergarten. Each year has made us a stronger team and even better friends. Together we enjoy finding new and fun ways to teach our class each year. We share a love for children and enjoy seeing them grow and learn. We are so happy for your family will become a part of our classroom family & the Seawell family.

Mrs. Reid

My name is Stephanie Reid. This is going to be my 8th year teaching. I am from Chapel Hill and am a former Seawell Student. I live in Hillsborough with my husband, Patrick and our son, Hayes. My family lives in Chapel Hill and we spend alot of time with them. I graduated from Chapel Hill High School and headed to Brevard NC. I attended Brevard College. This is where I earned a BS in Elementary education. After graduating college I started teaching in the Transylvania School District, where
I was fortunate to teach both kindergarten and first grade while looping with my first class. After my second year, I was given the chance to return home & got my "dream" job at Seawell, where I have been ever since.

Some things that I love are my family, art, reading, singing songs, going camping, gardening, animals, canoeing and swimming in the ocean. Overall, the thing I love the most is getting to spend my days surround by children. I love having the chance to see them grow each day. I am thankful that I get to do something that makes me so happy.
