Patricia Ritter- Remember to Forget Me
Scott Meshey -- Motocross
PA Virtual, Mount Joy, PAScott Meshey wasn’t a rider who was on our radar coming into the Vurb Classic, but he made the trip from Pennsylvania worth it by taking home the first ever Race Tech Shocking Performance Award. Meshey just missed out on taking home an overall win, but proved to be the only rider on the track able to match the pace of the super talented Texan, Challen Tennant. A true winner at heart, Meshey wasn’t exactly thrilled with his second overalls throughout the weekend, but was elated after hearing the news that he had earned Shocking Performance status. Keep an eye on this kid in 2013. He may surprise some people.
Below is a video of Meshey's race at Daytona Supercross. Unfortunately he am not showed in the riding parts, but I do have an interview. After Ricky Carmichael is done talking, and the different riders are showing, that is Meshey's voice.
To Protect and Defend (Your School)
Obviously you wouldn't be here if PA Virtual wasn't a good fit for you, but did you know that PA Legislators want to cut funding for cyber charters schools by 165 Million Dollars. (That's a lot! WOW!)
We can raise a clamor! Here's how--
Tell your story to your representative or in a letter to the editor please do.
If you write, consider something that has the following qualities
- 1. Concise in 350-500 words (about 1 page)
- 2. Makes a clear statement why you think PA Virtual and virtual education choices should be fully funded.
- 3. Tells a brief personal story
- 4. Stays positive and avoids "preachiness."
- 5. Makes clear what you would like the reader to do.
