Your child is bringing home a paper today that has login information on it which includes the two picture password.

We hope that you encourage your child to get on Raz Kids to practice and enjoy reading!!

Homework ...

Parents please review letters and their sounds, Sight Words, Word Families, and High Frequency words with your students frequently. Whenever you get a chance, take a few minutes to read with your child. For those who aren't reading yet, have them look at the pictures and ask them what they see happening in the picture. Please encourage your child to read! It doesn't matter what they are reading as long as they continue to read!! We ask that they spend at least 20 minutes a day reading. The more practice they get, the better their skills will become!

Spelling words: (May)

Sight Words: Parents ~ we hope that your child has been practicing their Sight Words, as well as their High Frequency/Spelling words, as this will help them with their reading skills.

High Frequency/Spelling Words:

Word Family Patterns:

About Mrs. Donohue ...

I was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana.

My husband and I both graduated from the University of Louisiana @ Lafayette.

We moved here in December of 1992 after living in France for 3 years.

My husband and I love to travel and experience new places.

We have two sons, both of whom graduated from Haltom High School.

About Ms. Feltman ...

I was born in and raised here in Springtown, Texas. I graduated from Texas Christian University in 1999 (so I love the color purple). I received my Bachelors of Science in Special Education. I am beginning my 18th year as an educator and it seems to me to get better and better every year. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. My favorite hobby is, of course, shopping. :)

I am looking forward to a wonderful year!
