Megan grew up on the Central Coast of California where she eventually graduated from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo with a degree in Liberal Studies. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, baking, exploring, and spending time with her family. Megan has worked with elementary age students her whole adult life and is thrilled to be a part of the Hooker Oak community!

Tech Teacher Mr. Sean here! Leadership for this year just started out. Look forward to our weekly life skill podcasts starting up next Monday- a great listen for anybody. Leadership also takes on our Yearbook, but as we can't help but miss out on things like our Jog-A-Thon, and Picture day is still up in the air, I'd like your help! I'll be asking for various themed pictures that we can build our memories from. This week send in a picture of your learning zone- the place where your kids are working and Zooming from during school time. If you'd like, send them my way to sean.clark@chicousd.net.

Hooker Oak students will now be able to check out books from our school library! Our first library book distribution will be on Thursday, September 10th from 12:30-1:30. This will be done as a "drive-thru/no contact" process only. We are committed to making this a safe process for all. Mr. Ryan, our Libary Media Assistant, will wear the appropriate PPE, and all reading materials will be quarantined for a mandatory 72 hours. Students must reserve their book(s) by Tuesday evening in order for it to be available on Thursday.
