Principal's Message
Afternoon Team!
March Newsletter Link: https://www.smore.com/ejs68
Our administrative team debriefed over last week’s data meeting and we were impressed with the thoughtful work of our instructional team in meeting the needs of our students. We are seeing progress with our students and while we are anxious for more growth, it does take time. It is also exciting to see that from last week’s meetings, teams are coming together for power sessions to move more students to meeting proficiency on the ACT Aspire. Our administrative team is convinced that we have what it takes to move our school to the next level. This journey would not be the same without the pivotal support of the entire school community! Thank you for all you do because of your love for our children and ensuring a quality education is provided. Please see Ms. Banks message about the upcoming ACT Aspire Testing. Let’s Have An Awesome Week!
Ms. Banks: News For Families
ACT Aspire Summative Assessment Robinson Middle School: April 14- April 24,2020
At Robinson Middle School we sincerely believe that our students are getting the best possible instruction and support to ensure they are performing at the established levels and are progressing toward attainment of individual goals that they’ve created. Based on data shared at our department data reset meetings, common formative assessment results, NWEA Map growth results, multiple interventions and various observations; there is evidence to suggest we will experience significant academic gains for a majority of our students. It is of paramount importance that every student is present each day (especially during the testing window). Please ensure your child arrives at school on time daily with a charged chrome book, is well rested, and displays appropriate behavior so that ALL students are able to perform at their highest level.
Week 1-April 14, 15, 16
Week 2- April 21-22
Make Up sessions will occur daily at the completion of scheduled assessments. There are no assessments scheduled for Mondays or Fridays; however, make up sections may occur on any school day after the assessment schedule begins. During Summative Assessment there will be daily incentives as well as a culminating activity to reward those students who are taking the assessments seriously. Please encourage your child to do their best each & every day.
