Happy New Year

Thoughts & Reminders this Week

Happy New Year! 2016 is officially upon us.

We ended the school year with a great Winter program. I hope that everyone recharged their teacher batteries and is feeling refreshed. Thank you all for decorating our school and the stage for the season.

Some say that positive self-talk is always a good way to get in the right mind frame for any event. For example instead of thinking to yourself, "I wish we had a longer break," you can choose to tell yourself, "I cannot wait to see my students and co-workers!" :)

I myself am not the, "cheerleader raw-raw, go-team-go!" type of person. But I do know that being positive and hopeful in my realism and pragmatism is a lot more effective and enjoyable.I included a couple videos that have to do with the book entitled, "How Full is Your Bucket." I have also included some articles shared with my by staff members.

As it is the season for setting new goals for the calendar year I encourage you to work towards growing in our pursuit of providing a good quality education to our kids.

I hope you were able to watch the Anita Archer Videos over the break. If you did not you can still access them in the older newsletter
