Eagle Welcomes Dr. Michael Goodman
"We are all Auggie Pulman" Talk
Thursday, December 20 9:00-10:30
"Compassion is Empathy in Action" - Students have been learning this concept and putting it into practice these past few weeks. To reinforce the important message of showing compassion and acceptance, Eagle Elementary is excited to welcome Dr. Michael Goodman as he speaks about his childhood experiences! Dr. Goodman is a pediatrician who also has Treacher Collins Syndrome, one of the conditions that Auggie Pullman has in the book Wonder. He will be visiting with our 3rd and 4th grade students on Thursday, December 20 from 9:00-10:30 AM.
Dr. Goodman would like to extend an invitation to the parents/guardians of our 3rd and 4th grade students to join us for this inspiring conversation. If you are planning on joining us we do ask that you preregister. Please plan on arriving 10-15 minutes early to allow plenty of time to be seated and minimize interruptions.
