Dear Parents,
Friday, October 8 is Picture Day. Students should wear their dress uniform. Order forms were sent home this week with each child. Please pay on or before October 8 or a handling fee of $8.50 may be applied. Ordering online allows you to select backgrounds and other products.
The next Virtus Class is October 4. See the sign up information below.
Progress Reports will go home with each child next week.
Grandparents Day, scheduled for October 22, has been postponed. It will remain a minimum day so please plan on picking up your student at noon.
If your child is absent, please call or email to let us know the reason. We need to know what the symptoms are if they are sick. Thank you for your help with this. We have created a Covid section with information below.
Remember to wash your hands and wear your masks. Vaccinations are recommended and protect everyone.

PTO October Fundraiser News
Convert Books to Burgers!
We always encourage reading, and this year, In N Out is helping by offering their delicious burgers to students who read.
Beginning October 2, In N Out will give a free burger to students who read five hours. Those reading hours can also be turned into AR points!

Annual Halloween Drive Thru
We are looking for families/groups to sponsor a station. If you like dressing up, love having fun and want to make children happy, consider handing out treats on the 29th. Email with questions or to sign up.
We are also taking donations of candy/treats. Donate $30 worth of candy/treats to earn an hour for required volunteer hours. Include receipt for verification.

Allergy Aware School
As an 'allergy aware' school our aim is to inform our community about the risk of allergies, with a focus on food allergies and also to provide a supportive environment in which children at risk of anaphylaxis can feel safe.
We would ask that all families refrain from sending any tree nut or ground nut products to school. Some of our students are highly sensitive to both.
There are many types of allergies that we are aware of in our student population. To maintain a safe environment, we are also asking that any treats sent in for special events must be store bought and all ingredients must be clearly labeled.
We want to thank you for your consideration in the health and well being of our Bruins.
