Groups worked together to complete a banner that included the following:
- Possible causes of weather conditions
- Weather characteristics
- Weather records
- Weather locations or Hot Spots
- Weather preparations
- Weather tracking
- Fun facts...
Banners also included catchy slogans, symbols, illustrations, and a creative flair.

Genavieve and Emma
They learned that there are 3 types of volcanoes, and something called the "RING OF FIRE"? A fabulously completed presentation!
Keiry, Hannah J, and Hannah K
Creativity galore! These girls gave the class a presentation on how to survive a blizzard (at home or in a car). Awesome Job!
Elsa, Cheyenne, and Lindsay
The class learned about the dangers of lightening storms (we better know as we live in the lightening capital of the world). If you look closely, you can find Jonas! Great work girls!
Derek, Anthony, and Muneer
They present the dangers, types, preparation, and tracking of tornadoes. Plus, we learn a little something about a place called "Tornado Alley"! A well done and creative poster boys!
Andrew, Maraya, and Wade
Do you really "Want To Catch This Wave?" The tracking of a tsunami uses water conditions, temperature, and scientific tools. Tsunamis are tied to earthquakes, and volcanoes. Very creative poster team!
Shaun, Evan, and Grant
"Get Ready To Rumble"! The dangers of earthquakes are extensive. Earthquakes can destroy a city in mere seconds. The monitoring of earth quakes date back as far as 132 A.D. A well organized and artistic presentation, FABULOUS boys!

An ice storm can seal a car shut. Ice storms can knock out power by pulling down power lines, and can destroy the roof of homes. Beautiful snowflakes Katherine.
Alejandro and Vincent
Hail, hail! Hail can fall anywhere and floats on air lift. When it weighs to much, it falls to the ground! Sizes can range from the size of a pea, to a grapefruit. Great job presenting the facts accurately.
Jeremy and Kaileb
There are many causes of flash floods, and they can become quite dangerous very quickly. Keep up the good work gentlemen!
