School Site Council (SSC)
Red Hawk Elementary School is holding elections for School Site Council (SSC). We invite you to nominate yourself or others to serve as a parent/community member. Please fill out the form below by 11/05/2021
School Site Council is composed of equal numbers of staff and parent representatives who serve a 2 year term. They meet throughout the year to oversee the implementation of various programs in the school, including state and federally-funded programs. The School Site Council members work together to set goals for improving student achievement at the school, allocate the funds to accomplish those goals, and evaluate the effectiveness of current programs.
For the 2021/2022 school year, we have 2 parent/community member openings.
Working together we make a difference for our students

Title 1 Information Night
Dear Families,
You are invited to attend the RHES “Popcorn, PJ’s and Parents” Title I Information Night. As you may know, our school is required to provide supplemental services to help students become successful in learning the district’s academic achievement standards. Support is provided to students through reading instruction, providing parent training, and access to additional learning materials.
We will begin with a shared book and literacy activity with the kiddos, and then Parents are invited to remain online for our annual meeting to inform parents of the requirements of Title I and your rights to be involved in the education of your children along with information about reading comprehension strategies and opportunity for questions.
This Parent Information Night will be held:
Date: Thursday, November 18, 2021 Time: 4:00 - 5:00 p.m.
Please use the Sign-Up Genius link to RSVP by November 15th.

A message from the Health Office
Red Hawk Parents,
We are currently running very low on disposable masks. The district has provided “washable” masks to every student. If your student was in person last semester, they have already received their packet of masks. If you are new to our school or were online last semester, you will be receiving one packet by the end of this week. We encourage every student to please bring their own mask every day.
Thank you,
The Health Office
