The Weekly Hoot
November 25-December 7, 2019
Greetings All -
Don't you just love the sound of a school building on the day before a holiday break?? Teachers laughing over meals, students in the hallways, PARENTS CHECKING THEIR KIDS OUT!!!!! Lol!! It's the sound of a school community that loves each other, but at the same time needs a little break from the routine. That's the sound I am hearing right now as I type the Hoot.
I know things didn't go quite perfectly today. We had to move the Turkey Trot into the gym. We ran out of turkey at the feast before everyone got to eat. The usual parent drama over a canned food drive. But even though all of that happened, I hope all of us can see how truly blessed we are to live in the community we live in and work with the people we do.So even when things get a little dicey, please remember our blessings that abound around here because there are many.
In case you haven't heard, Mrs. Wyatt is becoming a mama tomorrow to a sweet little boy! They have moved her induction up, so please wish her well as you leave today.
I hope everyone has an amazing break! I definitely know we need this time off, and I hope each of you are planning on enjoying it with your family and friends. I will see you all on Monday, December 2nd with bells on!!
See ya'll on Monday!
Love to all,
Marcy
