Welcome to this week's CRC newsletter! Here you will find time-sensitive announcements, events, service schedules, offering schedules, our prayer list and even a link to our bulletin "NEWS". I will send these out each week, typically on Thursdays. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to reach out!

2019-2020 Council Nominees: We will be voting to affirm the nominations of the following council nominees this morning: Governing Council Deacon: Lee Kootstra, Val Valdez. Ministering Elder: Dave Johnson, Tim Koelewyn. Ministering Deacon: Piet Zonneveld, Corey Zonneveld. Installation of new office bearers will take place next Sunday, August 25.
We thank retiring office-bearers for their service: Rimmert deJong (Governing Council Deacon). Darrell Kootstra (Ministering Elder). Jason Mackey (Ministering Deacon)
Our Annual Congregational Meeting is Monday (8/19/19) at 7PM in the Sanctuary. Absentee ballots for the budget are available in the Welcome Center or church office for professing members of our congregation unable to attend. Please complete, sign and return to the church office or a member of Council prior to our meeting. Childcare is available that evening as well.
Pastor Lambert will be on vacation August 26 - September 3. Pulpit Supply: August 25 Calvin & Jamie Hofland (Missionaries from Guinea). At 6:00 PM (8/25/19) Cal & Jamie will share an update on their mission work. September 1: Cisco Bergen (Pastor from Visalia CRC).

A new Church Directory will be published in September. We need all information to be accurate. Please take a look at the directory copy at the Welcome Center of names, addresses, etc. and confirm all is correct or make any corrections that are needed. Thank you.
Evening Coffee Break Bible Study will be starting on Tuesday, September 10th, at 6:30 in the church social hall. We warmly welcome all ladies who would like to join us in studying the books of Acts and Isaiah on Tuesday evenings. Morning Coffee Break will be starting on Wednesday, September 11th. There was a flyer in your mailbox last week. Please take a moment to look it over, pray for this ministry and if you’d like to join us, we’d love to have you! If it isn’t for you, please think of someone you can share this flyer with; a neighbor, a friend or a family member. We are still looking for a few more leaders so if that appeals to you, please call Jeanne de Haan at 740-8237.
