The advantages of being a fisheries officer is that you get to stop poachers from killing wild life. You can also help the fish. You also get payed a good amount of money. It's a very interesting job. Its also a hands on job.
Disadvantage
The disadvantages of being a fisheries officer is that poacher have guns on them so you could get shot. Some of the fish can also bite you. That could really hurt. You could also get sick from the things in the water. Being sick is never good.

In this job you have two different types of fishery officers. You got freshwater fishery officers and you got marine fishery officers. A freshwater fishery officer takes surveys on fish stocks. They also hand out moving fish permits. A marine fishery officer does more with patrolling. They also handle fish and shellfish.

Their not working alone most of the time. They are working with colleagues. The job is very hands on. They really don't have a tropical day at work. They can be doing something with the water one day or taking a survey. Than the next day they are doing a totally different job.
