Update on UC undergraduate admissions use of SAT/ACT
UC Policy:
All nine undergraduate campuses will not consider SAT or ACT test scores when making admissions decisions or awarding Regents and Chancellor's scholarships for fall 2022 admissions, maintaining the policy in place for fall 2021. Applicants will still be able to report SAT/ACT scores on the UC application, but those scores will only be used for the limited purposes of fulfilling the “B” (English) subject area of the A-G requirement, or for course placement or advising after students are admitted.
Will not submitting an SAT/ACT test score hurt my chances of being admitted?
