Covid-19 Changes The Way We Teach
Tips & Resources for Families
We Miss You!
Our entire staff misses seeing you all each and every day during school hours! We recognize the difficulties our parents are facing as you adapt to being "homeschool" teachers to your child(ren), the uncertainty this pandemic has brought to your lives, and that everyone will be affected in some way or another. We want to stress to you that our staff is still here for you and available to help in any way we can. This newsletter provides information to hopefully assist parents and students during this critical time.
Please make sure to check our Snowshoe website for resources and links on homeschooling your child. You can find emails for staff and we encourage you to reach out with whatever your needs are at the moment. We also have a Snowshoe Facebook page and we will be posting links there for you as well.
It is important for parents to keep all your information current in ParentVUE so that you continue to receive ConnectEd messages and phone calls. Also, remember to update cell phone or home phone numbers. Talk to your teacher if you're having trouble updating information. They will pass it along to our office staff who can update information so you don't miss information during this critical time period.
Lastly, refunds are being prepared for 5th grade parents who paid any monies toward the Homer field trip that was to happen in early May. Your child's teacher will be passing this information along to Mrs. Hardy who will be working to issue checks to parents. This could take several weeks but we will let you know when they are sent out.
Humbly,
Jason Moore, Principal
Snowshoe Elementary
