Self Assess For Symptoms Prior To Coming To School
Introduction of LanSchool Air
Thank you for your support and patience as we work together to help students continue their education from home during this extraordinary time. We wanted to tell you about one of the solutions we are offering teachers to help support virtual learning: LanSchool Air.
LanSchool Air helps teachers provide instruction and guidance to students outside of the traditional classroom. This solution includes features that:
- Allow teachers to save time by pushing a website to all student devices instantly.
- Offer instant messaging between the teacher and students, giving students the opportunity to digitally “raise their hand” to indicate they’ve finished their assignment or have a question.
- Enable teachers to view students’ screens to ensure they’re staying on track.
- Provide a way for teachers to set restrictions on the websites and apps students can visit during class time.
If you would like more information about LanSchool Air, please visit the website at Lanschoolair.com.
Thank you for all you are doing to keep your children safe and learning.

CB South Athletics
Football
CB South hosted Neshaminy Friday for the Titans last game of the 2020 season. Neshaminy wasted no time, scoring 41 points in the first quarter. The Titans tried to get things going but the early surge by Neshaminy was to much for CB South. Neshaminy won the game 62-27.
The JV team headed to Neshaminy on Monday for their last game of the 2020 season. The Titans left it all on the field earning a 28-24 victory capping a nice win to close out the 2020 season.
Attendance and Engagement Expectations
As we move into the 2nd Marking Period, we wanted to take a moment to provide some reminders about student attendance, engagement, and participation in class.
- The expectation is that Hybrid students will report to the building on their Hybrid learning days. Excused absences will be based on the reasons outlined in School Board Policy 204. Examples of excused absences are illness, quarantine, death in the family, religious holidays, etc.
- If a Hybrid student needs to work virtually for the day, a parent must provide a legitimate reason to the attendance office. No excuse or an illegitimate excuse will result in an unexcused absence.
- Participation and engagement in classroom activities is required of all students when working both virtually and in-person. Participation and engagement may look like cameras on, responding to questions/discussion in the chat, participation in a shared document or application, sharing the screen for work review, and much more. Teachers are only able to document a student’s virtual attendance based on their participation in the call and/or activities. If you have a specific concern about engagement and participation, please contact your student’s teacher.
We Want Your Feedback!

Information from the Senior House
SENIORS:
The Senior House Counselors have posted 5 College Planning Modules to the Guidance Website that cover specific information regarding the application process. In addition, there are multiple short videos to address FAQ’s and provide more clarity as seniors move through the college application process. Please visit https://www.cbsd.org/Page/26249 All videos are on the right side of the page.
We expect all our college-bound seniors to listen and/or read the slides and notes on all five modules. Our hope is between the PowerPoint modules, FAQ’s (Word document on right), and College Application Quick Guide (Word document on right) that many of your application, transcript, and recommendation questions will be answered.
All steps in the modules and quick guide need to be followed in specific order prior to official requests. If procedures are not followed, transcript and recommendation requests will be cancelled.
