The End of it All

Thesis

On January 17, 1893, the beautiful queen Liliuokalani was stripped of her thrown with the help of these three men; Minister John L. Stevens, President Grover Cleveland, and President William McKinley.

Conclusion

With the help of these three men, they were able to influence everyone discluding the

hawaiians, to overthrow the queen. This topic is important in history because it shows the flaw in the Americans back then. The long term significance is that it shows the pain and suffering Hawaiians faced and are still facing. This issue is still a big controversy on whether or not its legal and just, although it may have happened over a hundred years ago.

Is Hawai'i legally and lawfully a state of the Union?

In my opinion, i believe that Hawaii is not legally and lawfully a state. Hawaiians were unjustly stripped of their rights and their Queen was wrongly done. This wasn't just illegal but wrong. A nation should respect one anothers similarities and differences. It seems unfair to call a country a part of another country when they didn't agree to becoming that part of the country in the first place.

U.S Troops

January 16 1893, U.S. Troops came illegally to Hawaii. John L. Stevens asked for them claiming that Americans were scared for their safety so they needed help staying clear from the Hawaiians.
