We have a very busy two weeks (8 days!) as we wind down this ELITE school year!
We finished up an awesome two weeks of Georgia Milestones testing. Our scholars were focused and did an awesome job #SlammingTheExam
We hope to have our scores back in the next two weeks-- but regardless-- we know that one test doesn't tell us the whole story! Our scholars are growing! I am VERY proud of their relentless work and efforts! Same with our elite staff! They executed a flawless testing window! Way to go BCMS!
Thank You to Mrs. Lee!

#TheLastThreeDays• The 10
Here we go!
The #LastThreeDays is a social, emotional learning project aimed to focus on and build social emotional skills in our scholars. During the #LastThreeDays, all whole group and small group instruction will be built around those types of skills and that type of learning. We are very excited about implementing this project and connecting it to the start of our school year that will be title #TheFirstThreeDays and will have the same types of components as well as connections to our community!

Schools are built around moms! THANK you to our moms, step moms, grandmas, aunts, sisters, and all the women who help us grow the most amazing midlde schoolers in the world! I truly hope you had an ELITE day! I was able to spend the whole day with my three scholars (two middle schoolers!) and we were all device free! It didn't come without some groans, but in the end, we had some QFT: Quality Family Time. I still cooked dinner though! :)
Our all school PBIS activity is May 23rd. Scholars will be able to earn lots of PBIS bucks the next 10 days as well as spend them at the MALL on 5/23. All scholars who have earned ZERO Majors will earn $50.00 and be entered into a McDonald's Gift Card drawing! Way to go!
8th graders who do not pass GMAS, will be recommended for remediation and remediation summer school for the retest. Those dates are:
May 28th - June 2nd remediation
June 4th - June 7th Testing
We are hoping to see scores trickle in in about one week!
Stay tuned for information for rising 8th graders as it relates to summer opportunities for remediation.
Wild Adventures trip is one week from today. We have over 150 scholars attending this elite experience and are looking forward to some awesome experiences next year per grade level and one all school trip! Stay tuned!
