What's Going On In The World Of NBJH
Happy New Year from NBJH!!!
Pretzel with a Professional (01-24-24)
On Wednesday, the 6th and 7th grade students and faculty welcomed Ms. Kratz. Ms. Kratz is a board certified music therapist, multi-business owner, and mentor. Over the last 13 years, she has built and managed a music therapy private practice along with owning four other businesses while maintaining a career as a live musician.
Ms. Kratz was engaging and informative. She shared how she uses core subjects to budget, evaluate contracts, and communicate with other professionals, including doctors, about the needs of therapy clients.
She ended her presentation by singing a couple of tunes for the students!
We are thankful for Ms. Kratz taking the time out to come and share with our students and staff!

Cell Phone/Sick at School Reminder
Students are not allowed to be on their phones during the instructional period (unless the teacher has given them permission). Students who are on their cell phone during the instructional period without permission will turn their phone into the office for the remainder of the day.
Any student who is at school and not feeling well, needs to be seen by the nurse. If the nurse then decides that the student needs to go home, the nurse and/or Jr. High Office will call and make arrangements for them to be picked up. If a student contact home (without the nurse) and leaves, the student will be marked as an unexcused absence and should not be happening. (This policy is the same for grades 6-12).
