CHPL Summer Reading 2017

Cherry Hill Public Library

Earn a spin on the prize wheel for every 300 minutes you read! Prizes include books, free passes, coupons, toys, and more. There is an 8 spin maximum. The program runs from June 19 through August 19, 2017.

Barnes & Noble Summer Reading Journal

Students in 1-6 grade receive a free book after completing a reading journal with 8 books. The free books are from Barnes & Noble's select list, included in the reading journal. The reading log, and list of choices for the free book, can be found here.


The program runs from May 17 through September 6, 2016. The completed log can be brought to any Barnes and Noble store. Store locations can be found here.

Scholastic Summer Reading Challenge: Happy Camper

Help set a new worldwide reading record this summer! Each minute you read brings you closer to breaking the record and unlocking short stories by popular authors or other digital prizes.


The program runs from May 9 through September 9, 2015. Sign up and keep track of your minutes read at the Scholastic Summer Reading Challenge: Happy Camper website.

TD Bank Summer Reading

Students in kindergarten through 5th grade can earn $10 in a new or existing Young Saver account by reading 10 books! You just need to bring a completed reading log to any TD Bank location. The reading log can be found here.

You can use Novelist K-8, a service available from EBSCOhost, to find books based on what you are already reading! Here is how you use the program.

Select Novelist K-8 from the list of services.


You can choose lists of different genres from the left-side of the website or see highlighted books on the right side. If you search for an author or series, you can get recommendations on other books you might like!
