ELC picture day is Thursday, November 2nd. Please utilize the online ordering information below or teachers sent home paper copies with students. If you need an additional paper copy, please ask your child's teacher or call the office at 224-770-4300.

Thank you to all of our families for helping our students arrive at school safely and on time. We encourage the use of District 220 transportation. If you are currently transporting your child and wish to transition them to the bus, please let the office know that you would like your child to ride the bus. Otherwise, please follow the safety expectations below.

ELC arrival procedures

• Please drive your vehicle to the ELC parking lot and find parking in the back row

• Park your car if there are open parking spots. Once the lot is full, then we can begin to double park

• Do not drive through the bus lane or park in the bus lane

• Stop for school buses displaying the flashing red Stop Sign with lights and an extended stop arm, which signifies children are entering or exiting the bus. Do not attempt to pass the bus.

• Walk your child to the front entrance of the ELC; there will be staff members available to welcome students to the building at 8:00am (AM Preschool) and 12:05 (PM Preschool)

• To Exit Right onto Dundee, use the ELC Exit.

• To Exit Left onto Dundee, use the Prairie Exit.

• Meet your child at the front entrance of the ELC; there will be staff members that will bring your child outside at 10:20am (AM Preschool) and 2:30pm (PM Preschool) / 2:00 pm on Wednesdays

• To Exit Right onto Dundee, use the ELC Exit.

• To Exit Left onto Dundee, use the Prairie Exit.

• November 9th: 50th day of school at ELC; students should wear school colors!
• Save the Date: November 17th at 5PM ELC Art Night
  
• Save the Date: December 13th at 6PM ELC Bedtime Stories

Please do not bring in food treats with your child as we will need to send them home with your student. A daily snack is provided to all students. To keep all of our students safe, students should not be bringing any food or snacks to school at any time. Thank you for honoring this decision as we support the health and wellness for all our students.

• All students were provided with transportation. If you would like to decline transportation service and will be transporting your child to and from ELC, please contact Arely Gamez (ELC admin assistant) at agamez@barrington220.org or call 224-770-4300.
• If you would like to request Alternate Transportation from a daycare provider or another location within Barrington 220 district boundaries, please request that directly at the link below. It will take 72 hours or longer for any change to be effective. Please submit your transportation requests asap.
• Finally, if you have additional questions, please contact Barrington 220 Transportation Specialist, Megan Polzin at our District Administrative Center by email at businfo@barrington220.org or phone at 847-842-3545.

On the following dates, ELC students will not have school. We conduct developmental screenings in order to accept new students to our program. If you have a child that is approaching 3 years of age, please sign up for a screening using the links below. Also, please share this information with other families in your neighborhood as we love to accept new students that need our program.
