Happy November students, families, and staff! Just checking in, how are you? October was a busy month filled with Senior Meetings, Virtual College Visits, and more. November will be just as busy with more Virtual College Visits, FAFSA Fridays, attendance and academic progress monitoring, support services and individual counseling meetings. We have less than 30 school days until the end of SEMESTER 1 (Dec 18th)!! Browse through our November Newsletter for more information and remember to always feel free to reach out to your school counselor for support. Continue to come to school and be Ready, Responsible, Respectful, and a Role Model.

FAFSA Fridays!

Seniors, have you completed your FAFSA yet? Counselors will be available every Friday this month during lunch to assist with FAFSA completion in the main building atrium. Stop by to ask any questions and to submit your FAFSA!

GHS ASVAB Interest Form

The ASVAB is a Multiple-aptitude battery that tests a student's knowledge in eight areas including: general science, mathematics, word knowledge, paragraph comprehension, electronics information, auto and shop information, and mechanical comprehension. Results are presented on an ASVAB Summary Results sheet, a report that describes standard and percentile scores on individual ASVAB tests, Career Exploration Score composites, and military entrance score.

Probe Virtual College Fair

Wednesday, Nov. 4th, 5pm

This is an online event.

Probe is an annual program of college fairs that are held throughout the state of Georgia. Hundreds of colleges from across the nation attend Probe each year to reach thousands of Georgia high school juniors and seniors. Visit to register and attend the college sessions of your choice Nov. 4th and Nov. 5th!

Georgia’s DEL's Program provides funding for students who are dually enrolled at a participating eligible public high school, and a participating eligible postsecondary institution in Georgia.

All Students: Are you taking the correct courses to meet graduation requirements? Do you know which courses you have left to take? Have you completed your Individual Graduation Plan?

Scroll down to important documents and download a blank copy of your GHS IGP today. Complete this and update it at least once a year to make sure you are on track for graduation! You can do this by logging into powerschool and reviewing your course history to see which credits you have earned and updating your IGP at the end of each semester.
