Microbiology is the branch that deals with microorganisms.

What is a virus ?

A virus is a type of bacteria that cangenerally harm humans. Virus cannot suriive by themslefs they require a host cell to live and reproduce. This bacteria is non-living & can be transmitted sexully. You can treat a virus with vaccines. How you can prevent this disease is by washing you hands, get a vaccine, and exercise, some dieases it can cause are AIDS,HIV,STDS.

Bacteria is a micropscopic single- celled prokariotic microorganisms that live freely in soil,water or inside living things and reproduce rapidly. Bacteria can be transmitted by contiaminated places,air born,and by humans not washing hands ect. This bacteria can be treated ewith anitbiotices. You can prevent from getting this disease by washing hands,properly cleaning your self ect. This disease can cause food poisning, salmoella.

What is fungi ?

Fungi is a diverse group of eurkaryotic organisms that live by decomposing the organic material in which grow mushrooms,mold ect. Fungi can be transmitted bye air,water,tiny microbs found in soil,plants,animals as well as humans. This type of disease can be treated with antifungal cream,shampoos,medicine. This disease can be prevented by washing hands & cleaning shoes too. Some diseases it can cause are athletes foot,ringworm, thrush.

What is a parasite ?

Parasites are organisms that lives inside other organisms and benifits by taking nutrients promits host. This type of disease can be transmitted by moving on their own from one organim to the next.. THis fungal disease can be prevented by medicines,direct removal of parasite from host. This can be prevented by washing hands (freqently) with soap and water. A disease it can cause is maleria.

An outbreak of a disease that affects many people in an area of a specific country or region.

Defention of Pandemic.

An epidemic that spreads over a very large area or throught out the entire world.

Similarties between Pandemic and Epidemic

The similarites between pandemic and epidemic is that there both spreding and enffecting people. The difference between pandemic and epidemic is that pandemic is all around the world and epidemic is in one specific area or country.
