PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE
Kia ora tātou,
Welcome back to the last term of the year. It is always a happy, sad, exciting and busy time for everyone so please keep an eye on our website and Facebook page for the events that are coming up.
We started our term with an extra-special pōwhiri. We welcomed not only our new enrolments and their whānau but also Whaea Sarah (Mrs McCord) our Principal who will start next year. Here whānau and kura supported her and we had a lovely time. We look forward to seeing her pop in and prepare for next year.
The Pihinga team are currently out and about at Foxton Beach - what a great learning experience they will have. This is one of many activities that happen in Term 4, as the weather warms up. We also hope that swimming in our school pool will be an option later in the term - it is being painted and prepared as we speak!
Te Ahurei o Horowhenua, our local cultural festival is being held at Waiopehu College on Friday 4th November. Our Senior Kapahaka is performing at 10:45. If you have children in kapahaka, and are able to help, please complete the form that will come home with your child.
You may have seen our FundTogether group advertising a Grocery Grab Raffle. This is amazing sponsorship from the owner of New World Levin, and we thank them sincerely. Tickets went on sale today and will continue to be sold until 13th November. What a fantastic opportunity just before Christmas!
Kia pai tō wiki.

Last year's event raised over $8,400 for KidsCan.
