Pyramid House's Hike to the Nature Preserve at Forest Glen

On Tuesday, January 3, 2017 our house is taking a hike over to the nature preserve at Forest Glen during our ELA classes. We are beginning a four day poetry unit and on that Tuesday, after the Christmas break, we are focusing on Haikus. Haikus are a Japanese poetry form that typically are written about nature, hence the need to explore in nature. Please come to school with your winter gear. Thank you!

Open mic day! Today, we will choose one of our poems from the past three days to share with the class. While we read our poems, others will be decorating one of their poems they have chosen to publish and enjoying goodies. Thank you to those of you who volunteered to bring in items for our festivities!
