11th Grade Information
Class of 2023
Welcome 11th grade Heritage High School Students!

The Counseling department would like to share some important information to support your success this year.

The counselors will be out in the hallway of the Washington building in the month of February and March to help students pick their classes for the 22-23 school year. Check the list below to see when the counselors will be in your English class.

How many credits should you have during your junior year?
As a junior, it is critical for you be on track to graduate. A typical junior that has passed all of his/her classes, should have 120 credits. You need to be at at-least 155 credits by the end of your Junior year to be considered on track to graduate.
A Junior letter will be mailed out the month of November 2021, specific credit information will be included by your counselor. If you or your parents have questions or concerns, please contact your counselor to schedule a meeting to discuss your progress.
If you want to watch a presentation and get more information about the graduation and A-G requirements click on this link.

Students must accumulate a total of 225 credits and meet the requirements for each section to graduate at the end of senior year!
If you are planning on applying to a 4-year college, 11th grade is very important to your grade point average (GPA). Cal State and UC’s use the 10th and 11th grade GPA to determine college admission; so it is important that you earn C’s or higher in all of your core content areas.
