Voyager 1
Voyager 1 was launched on September 5, 1977 for the study of the outer solar system and interstellar medium. The Voyager 1 is 1,590 lb. From this day Voyager 1 has been in space for 35 years, 7 months, and 6 days.
Voyager 2
Voyager 2 was launched on August 20, 1977 to study the outer solar system and eventually to interstellar space. It is 1,590 lb. It was actually launched before Voyager 1, but Voyager 1 moved faster than it so it eventually passed it.
The End of Our Solar System
Voyager 1 is already out of our solar system and into interstellar space. But Voyager 2 because of its slower speed it is still in our solar system and trying to get to interstellar space just like Voyager 1.
