Short Week

This week is a short one, with just three days of CDL. Thursday our team will be digging into equity work, School Improvement Plan (SIP) goals and action steps, and working in grade-level teams on asynchronous learning structures and applied learning. Now that assessments are nearly complete you can expect some adjustments and additions of small groups.


We are excited to share that our 2019-2020 yearbooks are finally printed and set to be shipped this week! As soon as we have the expected arrival date (approximately one week), we will send out pick up dates and times.


Attention 6th graders! We are looking for some morning announcement co-hosts and hosts. If you are interested please reach out to Mrs. Lentz.


Important Dates:

  • October 8 - No School, Teacher Professional Development and Planning
  • October 9 - No School, Licensed Non-Contract


Our evening support line in English is currently not being utilized and/or needed. We will continue this support through this Wednesday night only. As always, please reach out if you need anything via email: lentzj@hsd.k12.or.us.

Home Language Survey

If you have a kindergarten student or are new to Patterson, it is important that you fill out this home language survey as a part of your registration and email it to our office team. We use this form to identify which students may need academic language supports and/or Spanish Literacy instruction. Once we have the form our Language Specialist, Mrs. Turner-Baxter reaches out to share more about our language programs and determine eligibility.

National GeoBee Club - Event Cancelled

Unfortunately National GeoBee has just informed us that they are cancelling their programming and events for this school year. We are hopeful that we will be able to bring this club back to Patterson next school year.

Bus Delivery of Meals

During Comprehensive Distance Learning, all meals will be delivered via bus routes. Deliveries will take place Monday through Friday on school days, starting Tuesday, Sept. 8, and will include both breakfast and lunch.


Through December 2020, meals will be available at no charge. Meals will be delivered and available on expanded bus routes between 11:45 a.m. and 12:45 p.m.


To find out the location and time of the meal delivery for a specific student, visit the MyBus Student Route Look-up tool and enter the student’s ID number and birth date.
