In what has become somewhat of a tradition we were able to go to the WCWS as well. Our timing and luck of the weather could not have worked out better! We were able to go see some family and friends and watch some great softball.

NEW JOBS (Summer)

Megan has moved from teaching 5th grade in Belton, Missouri to teaching 2nd grade in the rapidly growing Spring Hill School District. The school is half a mile from our house. It is really nice and she is loving it! Farron has moved from teaching Social Studies at Trail Ridge Middle School in the Gardner-Edgerton District to teaching Geography and World HIstory at Gardner-Edgerton HIgh School. He is in the brand new freshman wing. He loves his new position within the district. Farron will also continue to be the Girl's Assistant Varsity Coach and coach C-Team softball for the Blazers.

We had the opportunity to take a trip to the wonderful San Francisco this summer! Our favorite activity was the tour of Alcatraz. The audio tour done by previous guards and inmates was fantastic. We toured through Muir Woods, took a trip to Sonoma, visited Fisherman's Wharf and the Ferry Building, walked through Chinatown, had a fun night at the Exploratorium exploring science, and enjoyed a walk through Golden Gate Park. It was a one of a kind trip!

In certainly our most exciting news we will be adding a BABY BOY to our family in June 2018! We could not be more excited for this adventure together! Pistol is unsure about this news and does not know it will be a boy.
