Who Fought
this was a war that was between the north and south.The south believe that slavery should continue!But the north said that slavery should be no more!And then they disagreed resulting in a civil war

How it Started
The war began when the Confederates bombarded Union soldiers at Fort Sumter, South Carolina on April 12, 1861. The war ended in Spring, 1865.

he was very important he was one of the reasons that they fought at Gettysburg he recommended fighting there in the first place
Braxton Bragg
Confederate general in the Civil War, he fought the Seminole and in the Mexican War was promoted to lieutenant colonel for distinguished service at Buena Vista. He resigned from the army in 1856 and lived on his Louisiana plantation until the outbreak of the Civil War, when he was appointed a Confederate brigadier general and assigned to command the coast from Pensacola, Fla., to Mobile, Ala. 25,000 southern confederates where killed resulting in the defeated of the confederate forces it lasted three days and when the southern solders flied the northern solder where too weak to chase them.
