Botswana is 600,370 square kilometers long. Botswanas natural resources include diamond, copper, nickel, salt, soda ash, potash, coal, iron, ore, and silver. The capital of Botswana is Gaborone. A few famous citys of Botswana are; Tshabong, Mamunuo, Ghanzi, Kanye, Mahalype, Serowe, and Muane. A few famous rivers are the Limpopo River, Shase River, Zambezi River, and Okavango River. The biggest desert in Botswana is the Kalahari Desert. A delta in Botswana is the Okavango Delta.
Botswana is dry, due to short rain season. However it has a high-altitude which makes it a sub-tropical climate. The dry season lasts from April to October in the south and April to November in the north. The south of Botswana gets cold winds in the winter time(may-august) and the average tempratures are from the 60* to the 80*. In Botswana sunshine is high all year long. Botswana has periodic droughts.
