Parent Portal Letters Coming Home This Week!
Parents of PreK, Kindergarten and students who are NEW to MISD.....parent portal letters are coming home in Tuesday folders tomorrow with information on how to add and access your student in the parent portal system for grades, attendance and other changes you may need to make to your student's info.
These letters contain a case sensitive portal ID that you'll need to use to add your student to the account you created when you registered.
Once you've read the letter and tried to add, if you have any problems, or can no longer access your student from last year, please email our registrar by clicking HERE.
A Note from The Counselor's Office
Students’ social and emotional development lends to academic learning and at MRE we recognize the importance of tending to a child’s heart in addition to their mind. Research has shown that the presence of a school counselor supports a safe learning environment and contributes to students’ feelings of security, well-being, and belonging. If you ever have any questions regarding our counseling program or emotional/social learning at MRE, please don't hesitate to contact me at email@example.com (or by clicking 'contact me' on the right!)
Some of the services she provides include:

Character Trait of The Month
The MRE counseling program aims to foster and develop students’ social and emotional learning. One way accomplish that is by teaching the students a different character trait each month. Character education is a proactive movement that supports the social, emotional, and ethical development of all students. It creates a positive school climate, encourages mutual respect and appreciation, and teaches students to be their best selves and how to reach their full potential.
Our character value for the month of September is TRUST. We explain to students that trust is “putting your confidence in someone you can depend on.”
We encourage you to reinforce the character trait of the month at home with your student(s)!
