Earth Rangers Visit
The Earth Rangers School Assembly was a dynamic and interactive presentation .Through the power of live animal demonstrations and positive, science-based information, the program educated students about the threats facing animals and the environment, highlighted real conservation initiatives across Canada, and motivated them to want to get involved. The presentation provided students with tangible ways they could help protect these ecosystems and showed the big collective impact small, everyday actions can have.
A huge thank you to TC Energy who sponsored the presentation for us!
Carly Armstrong Presentation
Carly Armstrong came into CKCS and presented on nutrition to all our grades. Students had a great time learning about proper portions, and healthy food choices! Thank you to School Council who sponsored the event.
SMILE Cookie Week!
A huge thank you to our family sponsors who purchased cookies for all our students in May!
Bus Driver Apprecation
We hosted our Bus Driver Appreciation Assembly on May 3, 2023. Our bus drivers are pretty special people who get our students to and from school safely every day. Classes presented them with cards, the school gifted them bird houses and the Grade 9 class created a video just for them. Thank you for everything you do for us at CKCS!

Grade 4 & 6 Field Trip Fundraiser
The Grade 4 and Grade 6 classes are fundraising with Mabel’s Labels! If you are not familiar with Mabel’s Labels, they are personalized, durable, and waterproof labels. They are great for everything from shoes, clothing, tags, water bottles, and backpacks. You can customize your labels with your name and a design. They are dishwasher, laundry, and microwave safe. Mabel’s Labels also offers clothing stamps, silicone bands for water bottles, and medical alert labels. This is a great way to ensure your items don’t get mixed up and are easy to identify if they end up in the lost and found.
To support our fundraiser, visit campaigns.mabelslabels.com and select Christ-King Catholic School (Stettler). You can pick out whatever labels or products you want. It will ship directly to your house!
Thank you for supporting us!
CKCS School Council
The next School Council Meeting will be on Monday, June 5, 2023 @ 7pm. It will be in-person with a virtual option.

School Council plays a very vital role at Christ-King. They fundraise to provide events for our students, they organize hot lunches, staff appreciation and so many other activities. Since they do so many things for our school, it does take volunteer power. Please consider coming! We know life gets busy so you do not need to attend every meeting, nor are you expected to volunteer for every event in the year. Please just help out as you can!
Thank You School Council!
School Council has determined they would like to support a Faith goal, a Physical Education goal and a Mental Health goal for our students this year.
School Council will be paying to bring in:
-Mini Legends (K-6)
-Snowshoeing (7-9)
-Face2Face (K-9)
-Motivational Magic (K-9)
The above guest speakers and activities will help support the goals of School Council!
Thank you very much for your continued support! CKCS would not be able to provide all that we do without School Council!
