A Message from Mrs. Swieckowski

Hello Hodgkins Families,

This week we will be completing our beginning of the year assessments and gearing up for parent teacher conferences. It is extremely important that you review Empower with your child prior to your conference. This way if you have any questions about the platform, you can ask for clarification during your meeting. It is also important that your child’s teacher is able to explain to you whether your child is on pace or below pace. There may be some of you that hear that your child is behind in grade level expectations. While this can be concerning, please take this information as a chance to play a huge part in supporting your child in filling in their gap of knowledge. Ask your child’s teacher for ideas on what you can do to support at home. We see your child’s development as a team effort, you are your child’s first and most significant teacher and we are here to support you in anyway that we can!

With Kind Regards,

Mrs. Swieckowski
