Hello Everyone!
It was wonderful to see members of our community at the Trailblazer event on Tuesday evening to hear our students talk so positively about their experiences at school. If you missed the event, you can check it out below or go view it from the district's Vimeo page at www.vimeo.com/mtrsd. Please keep a watch out for the next event!
It was great to speak with more community members this afternoon at my virtual office hours. As a reminder, I’m hosting an open virtual chat with caregivers each month (you can find the info and links here: https://www.mtrs.mohawktrailschools.org/News) Join me for the next one on Friday, March 11 from 8 a.m.-9 a.m.
ALSO... earlier this week our Nordic Ski team competed in the state championship at Prospect Mountain and TODAY Chay Mojallali and Dennis Simmons will compete at the Division 5 indoor track championship meet while Logan Moore and Will VanVleet headed to Fitchburg for the state wrestling meet. We are so proud of our student athletes and all their accomplishments! A big CONGRATULATIONS and GOOD LUCK from the entire MTRS community to our student athletes for an awesome winter season!
Our newsletter is packed with info this week. Please find below information and news related to the many things happening in our busy school.
Enjoy your weekend!
Best wishes,
Chris Buckland

Student Council News
Student Council organized a school-wide advisory activity where students in advisory received a piece of paper where they could write / draw something positive they want to share with the school (a quote/drawing/joke etc.). These pieces were then combined and hung up in a tessellating pattern on the wall. Please see this slide show to explore how the student council continues to grow spirit and engagement at MTRS: Link
