If you have old catalogs or sales ads you do not need, we would love to have them by Wednesday for a fun math project. Send us your junk mail!
December 17: Christmas Party from 11:30 to 12:30! All families are invited to join us. If you'd like to send stocking stuffers for the class, we have 28 students in all. This is completely optional. Some ideas for stocking stuffers: pencils, erasers, party favors, individually wrapped candies, etc. We will also have early dismissal at 2:00.
December 18: Pajama Day! Make sure to wear shoes you can wear to P.E. and recess. Students may bring a mug for hot cocoa. We will also have early dismissal at 2:00.
December 21 - January 1: Christmas Break
January 4: School resumes.
- Spelling: We will begin working on new words this week. Students were given a copy to practice at home to prepare for our test on Friday.
- Literacy: Students are strongly encouraged to read at home every night, even if it is 10 minutes here and there.
- Math: We will continue working on multi-digit multiplication and will begin division. Check out www.multiplication.com/games for fun multiplication games. See the button below for a link to the website.
- Student Planners: Check your child's planner for daily updates on what we are learning. If the assignment is to be done as homework, we will indicate this with HW.
