-Angiotensis receptor blockers
-This syndrome will result in kidney failure
Epidemiology & Pathogenesis
Alport syndrome is caused by mutated genes and is most common in men. It has dominant inheritance on the X chromosome. 1 in 50,000 get this syndrome. There is not another general pattern it follow.
