Jaguar Journal Vol. 25
February 24, 2023
Hello #FAMILY,
We had a fun, short, and cold week. Our fundraiser for the earthquake has started, and our students definitely want to see the bucket challenge drench our Leadership Team! Zick is in the lead and Franklin is a close second. We will continue this fundraiser all of next week. Keep the money coming!
Please remember that there is a HUGE push for attendance. We are excited to celebrate our students and grade levels with our Merrill attendance growth and competitions!
CMAS is right around the corner. Here is our schedule, important facts, and other CMAS info. Please note we need high attendance and participation as part of our school measurement and accountability. Pleased reach out to Molly Zick with any questions.
Our PTSA Fundraiser is right around the corner. Please stay up-to-date with the opportunities, asks, and event to make Merrill the best it can be!
Have a great weekend!
WHO IS GOING TO GET ICE WATER DUMPED ON THEM?
The Jaguars are engaging in a fundraiser to help the victims of the Earthquake in Turkey/ Syria. In advisement, we learned about altruism and how it helps us to feel better when we give back. Then we discussed the situation in Turkey/ Syria and how we can help. Below are the steps for our fundraiser!
Bring cash (coins or dollars) during lunch to donate to the Earthquake Victims (Doctors without Borders).
Place your donation in 1 of 4 buckets with the names Zick, Underwood, Franklin, or Foust.
The person with the MOST MONEY in their bucket will get a tub of ice water tossed on them for all to see.
Goal: $1500 ~ We have 10 days to make this happen! Bring your money starting on Wednesday!
You may also give directly to Doctors without Borders, but it will not go toward the Ice Water Challenge.
Thank you,
Ellie Foust
