Dear Chesterbrook Academy Elementary Families,
We hope this newsletter finds you well and filled with excitement as we share some of the wonderful experiences and adventures our students have had recently.
Pre-K Field Trip to Please Touch Museum:
Our Pre-K students embarked on a thrilling journey to the Please Touch Museum, where they immersed themselves in hands-on learning experiences. Exploring the Namaste India exhibit, they discovered the rich cultural heritage of India, engaging in interactive activities that sparked their curiosity and creativity.
Girl Scouts Field Trip for Community Badge:
Our Girl Scouts troop was on the road, on an educational journey to the local fire station and SPCA as part of their quest for the coveted Community Badge. At the fire station, they learned about fire safety and the courageous work of firefighters. Visiting the SPCA, they gained insights into animal care and welfare, deepening their understanding of compassion and responsibility towards our furry friends.
Preparation for the Upcoming Art Show - "Animals of Our Planet":
Excitement is in the air as our Pre-K, K and 1st Grade students gear up for the upcoming art show titled "Animals of Our Planet." With brushes and paints in hand, they are channeling their creativity to portray the beauty and diversity of wildlife. Families are invited to attend this highly anticipated event, on March 15th at 10:00am.
1st Grade Annual Presidential Speeches:
Our 1st graders diligently prepared for their annual presidential speeches, showcasing their leadership skills and civic knowledge. Inspired by great leaders past and present, they addressed their peers with ideas for making our world a better place. Let's cheer them on!

🕶️ Summer Camp at CBA ☀️
Join us for School-Age Summer Camp
At our summer camps, we measure time not in minutes but in moments. Like the moment your child jumps for joy when scoring their first goal. The look on their face when the rocket they built actually launches. The thrill of performing on a stage, solving a math challenge, or creating digital art. Epic moments like these happen all summer long at our day camps, sports camps, specialty camps, and academic camps. This is the place where epic moments happen!
We require all students to wear a school uniform unless otherwise directed.
- Daily Uniform: Girls and boys should wear a green or blue polo shirt with khaki shorts/pants/skirt.
- PE Uniform: PE t-shirt and mesh shorts or sweatpants with sneakers are required on PE days.
- Shoes & Socks: On Daily Uniform days, students must wear brown shoes with white, green or blue socks. Students should wear sneakers on PE days.
**Please note, students should not wear Ugg boots to school**
