GT LEAD referrals
PARENT REFERRAL FOR STUDENTS IN GRADES 1-4
(GT LEAD)
Referrals for students in grades 1-4 who are interested in Grapevine-Colleyville ISD’s GT LEAD program services for the 2018-2019 school year will be accepted through today, Friday, February 16, 2018. These referrals are for students in grades 1-4 only at this time.Testing will occur February 26 through March 9. Parents will be notified regarding results as soon as the assessment process is completed.

Math Telescoping Exams
Math Telescoping Exams
Testing opportunities for telescoping in math for the 2018-2019 school year are available in the spring and summer for GCISD students who are completing Grades K - 7.
The Math Telescoping Information Packet will be available on the district website under the For Parents and Students Directory by selecting the link for Acceleration Exams, Math Telescoping, Grades K - 7.
If you feel your student has demonstrated strong math achievement, consider having them take a telescoping test for next year's placement. If you aren't sure, talk to your child's teacher.
Parents will find information about the requirements to qualify for Math Telescoping and instructions about the TWO STEP Online Registration Process. There will be links to print the Information Packet, begin the TWO STEP Online Registration Process to register for the spring exams, view the TEKS on the TEA website, and download Study Guides for the exams purchased from UT-Austin.
The online registration form will go live on February 22nd for the April 21st test administration.
The exam dates and registration deadlines for each exam date are listed below:

Tuition PreK
In the 2018-2019 school year, GCISD will offer a tuition-based pre-k program at Bransford Elementary, Colleyville Elementary, O.C. Taylor Elementary, Grapevine Elementary, Heritage Elementary and Bear Creek Elementary. There will be limited availability at Timberline and Silver Lake Elementary for a blended program that includes English and Spanish (an option if you are considering Dual Language in Kindergarten).
