I Am Me
By Coralee Hull
One Direction is my Life!
One Direction is a British boy band, and they rose to the number one boy band spot after being on The X Factor in 2010. Those five boys, Harry, Zayn, Niall, Louis, and Liam have been my favorite band for three years now, and I still can't stop listening to their music. My favorite songs of theirs are Irresistible, Truly Madly Deeply, Little Things, and More Than This. They are just really down to earth and incredibly talented, and that's why so many people love them. I just hope that they continue to make more music for the next few years to come.
I am a Huge Reader and Writer!
Whenever I have free time, I pick up a book or I go on Wattpad and start reading or writing. I just love the feeling of escaping the world and diving into a new life. You can just read so many books, and it just feels like you just started over in a new life. When you start writing a story, it's the same thing. You can create anything and have a fresh start or the life that you truly want. So, I just love the feeling of having a completely clean slate.
I Want to be an English Teacher, a Book Editor, or an Author.
English Teacher
I want to be an English Teacher for many reasons, and one of those reasons is because I excel at writing, reading, and language arts. It is my favorite subject so I work really hard to make sure I do my best in every assignment. Another reason is because I think it would be really cool to be a teacher someday. I just love to help others, and if I was a teacher, I would help kids learn everyday. The last reason is because I enjoy writing and all language arts very much. It interests me to write and read, so an English teacher would be a great future job for me. (language arts teacher)
A Book Editor
A Book Editor seems like a pretty good job for me because I love to read! I am a huge reader, and it would be a dream job for me to read all day as a job. I think I would really like to be able to have the power to be able to publish a book and see how people react to it. I would be able to bring joy to people, and that would make me extremely happy! If I was able to bring a smile to peoples' faces, it would be an amazing experience, and I would never want to leave my job. So, I really think I would like to have the choice of being a book editor in the future.
An Author
I think I would love to be an Author and still do another job (one of the ones to the left) because I love to write, and I write anyways so I think I would really love to be an Author. Even though I might and probably won't get published someday, I would still like to continue writing when I am older. I just like creating a new story from scratch, something that no one has ever read or thought about before. It is just really cool to have that power and ability to be able to create something and put it to paper. So, I would love to be a writer/author when I am older!
I Love the TV show Will & Grace!
Last year, my mom introduced me to an awesome old show called Will & Grace. Will (Eric McCormack) and Grace (Debra Messing) are best friends in this show, and it is hilarious. In the past two years, I have seen all of the episodes at least four times, but recently, it went off the air so now i have to wait until my birthday for the eight seasons! This show just makes me laugh and have a great day (it just cheers me up!) It is definitely my favorite TV show of all time, and will continue to be for a pretty long time because it's amazing.
I Have Life Threatening Food Allergies.
I am allergic to peanuts, tree nuts, shellfish, and much, much more. I can die just by taking the slightest bite of one, and some people do no realize how serious this it. I just can not eat peanuts, I can't eat things made near peanuts or on the same manufacturing line (chocolate, some breads, coffee, some kinds of mayonnaise, some crackers, cookies, no bakery items, etc.) It is really hard because whenever your friends want to go out to eat you can't or you have to go and watch them eat. Then I can't eat out at restaurants, I can't ever kiss anyone (unless they don't eat anything I am allergic too), and I can't go anywhere without my Epi-Pen with me at all times. My peanut allergy is most likely for life because it's really rare to grow out of a peanut/nut allergy, but I could grow out of the others. So, I am stuck with the peanut allergy (one of the hardest allergies to deal with) for my whole life.
